Dear parents and students,

Hello!

My name is Mr. Tim.

I have taught over 4,500 different students online.

I have conducted 1-on-1 and group classes with many children and adults. In the past, I taught with Zebra English, Magic Ears, Novakid, Carrot Global, Lingoda, and Palfish. Now I focus on teaching personal 1-on-1classes for children and adults.

After working for many different schools and English teaching companies, I saw some common pitfalls of their methods as well as how they succeeded at different teaching goals. I carry this experience into the classroom, where there is an emphasis on learning, yet in a fun atmosphere. It is important to me that my students have fun in class and enjoy learning. Learning should be fun! I use props, special effects, and digital effects to make each lesson enjoyable and effective. I know that when a student enjoys class, they will remember more, and anticipate learning English in the next class. This increases the effectiveness of each lesson.

Education: I have a Bachelor's Degree of Education from USILACS, with a focus on Principals and Methods of Language Education. I also have a 40-hour TESOL certification from the Canadian Institute of English (CIE) and a SLAM (Second Language Acquisition Methodology) Certification from CIE. I obtained a 120-hour TESOL certification and have successfully helped over 4,500 students from all over the earth speak and read English online. My goal is not to just to teach students, but to help them develop a lifelong love for learning.
